I use Yahoo a lot but prefer google. I find they have better results and you can't beat google maps, especially the satalite images.

I don't know about Microsoft purchasing Yahoo! or its subsidiaries, but I do not believe Google has a relationship with Google. On Microsoft Windows computers, the default search is always MSN Search, now under the "Windows Live" tree. Microsoft has been attempting to dominate the search engine business for quite sometime, ever since "the new MSN search," and before that also. If such a thing happens, services like Answers and e-mail should remain intact.

I am more comfortable with Google, though I have been using Yahoo more.
I am not interested in extending the MSN monopoly, I don't touch that one, and I have no idea if it is any good.

Well depends
for anything to search - Google (largest web directory)
but google has many links so sometimes particular searched thing may not be available
For particualr thing like job and IMAGE - Yahoo! is best
For news and links - msn
For asking questions - ask.com (it supports natural languages) go and ask him what is my Ip? it'll give you!

I almost always use Google when I am searching something. I find that google gives the best results and you can find what you are looking for faster.

Google since it has two options like searching in the web & In your own country. Also it gives much more info in relatively less time in most cases.
