Put the clutch in and put it in 1st gear. keep holding in the clutch and lightly depress the gas pedal all the way to the floor, while at the same time quickly, but not so fast u kill the engine, lift up on the clutch. Thats how u launch it in a burnout. to stay in 1 place doing a burnout, do all of that and then, transfer your foot from the clutch quickly to the brake. you have to find the right mix of gas and brake to keep the wheels spinning. ONLY DO THIS IN A RWD, FRONT ENGINE CAR. cuz it wont work otherwise. hope that helps.

One thing you can do is install a Line Lock on your brake system that will lock the wheels that are not drive wheels. Ex. lock the front for rear wheel drive, lock the back for front wheel drive. This way you don't have to fight your brake system to get your tires to spin. The line lock works with a button, push your brake pedal, hold the line lock button, release brake pedal, rev engine, release clutch, burn tires, release line lock to go.

From experience I can tell you it's not easy but can be done. you have to hold the brake pedal with the heel of your right foot so you can work the gas.
