A few people are getting their senses of pro mixed up. Pro means "for" and "before" (in another sense) in Latin and Greek. The question was "Who died for my sins?" Not "Who will die/has died BECAUSE of my sins?"
Christ, I maintain, died for our sins. Only people who deny the historical record (Kazantzakis) maintain he did not die, and while others may disagree as to whether his death was actually for our sins, it cannot be argued that it was not his intent to do so for that reason.

The ones who take time to worry about you, and help you stay on the right path.
They give up their time to look after you, like your parents. They have the attitude of a Jesus in them.

It's not who, it's what. What died was your self-control.
