I am homosexual, but I have never engaged in any sort of "gay" relationship. But I find myself to be only attracted to guys, a fact that I am ashamed of and want to get rid of. Any suggestions/tips will be greatly appreciated.

It is hard to change your attractions in geys, but think about that - are u really interested to be with somebody who looks like, has the same body parts (male) and cares about the same things?

I suppose you could watch porn with only females in it. Maybe have someone whisper 'you are attracted to girls' into your ear as you sleep. You could also try some super control over your own feelings, i do it all the time, if you don't want to feel one way, you can always make yourself believe you are straight. I think mainly you should not try to become straight, why are you ashamed of it? I have a gay freind and hes uber cool! I see nothing wrong with people being gay, and you should not listen to societies 'norms', especially about sexuality. You are what you are mate, don't try to change it. I think your real problem is coming to terms with the fact your gay, if i were a guy id be gay, i really don't like girls. This post probably has not helped you in any way, but i think you should forget trying to be straight, and just work on asking a guy out.

OK, first, I am hetero and I am very attracted to women. Now that's out of the way, I just thought I should say that you should embrace who you are as an individual. Don't be ashamed of who you are. YOu will never be happy if you force yourself to love a woman. If you like guys, then talk to guys and maybe you can find a relationship that will make you happy. LIfe is much too short to not be happy. Just be yourself.

being a gay is a fact that every homosexual discovers in some part of their lives.i have a friend who is a gay(i am not).he never knew it untill he was 25 when he just couldnt feel attracted to the many girls flocking around him(and lol i was desperately searching for a single girl, and he is drop dead handsome).its a choice that you have to make becos i know that gays can get married to normal girls and have children and start a family.just ask yourself what is it that you want a happy family or to join the annual pride parade.since you yourself want to feel attracted to girls is a healthy sign.it just shows that you are just suffering from a unfortunate mental disease like autism but dont let it rob it from you the happiness of your life.its a chioce that only you can make.you are at crossroads.its a message to every gay in this world.

Well, you need advices from an expert, not us. Go get one.
And I am sure if you have never really engaged in "gay things" as you said, then you are naturally normal, just something wrong stuck in your head, an expert will get it off for you.

This is controversial.

Many years ago, I read the psychologist, Dr. Albert Ellis.

He described his success in helping people like you to change.

He made it sound like he had some sub category of guys, who fell into it because they were afraid of rejection by women.

But it sounds like you are really motivated. Look him up on Google.

His method was to push them to go with women, look at straight porn, and think about women, when masturbating.

I would suggest (if i didn't expect you to be strongly opposed to it) to find a transexual or shemale, and shoot for the middleground to wean yourself off being attracted to males, otherwise I would resort to choosing abstinence till such time as you loose your attraction to both sexes, then reestablish your desire for females.

Find yourself either a swinger or a bi wife and the two of you can have the best of both worlds.
