But, to answer your question with my usual laser-like aplumb, there are millions of people, don't waste your life chasing people who aren't interested. Move on. Even if you somehow force/trick this boy into dating you, it won't last - assuming that's your goal in the first place.

Yea, i agree...what does this have to do with baseball but, onto the advice.
Attempt to establish a good friendship with this guy. Maybe he doesn't want to date you because he doesn't know you that well. Get to know him, and let him get to know you. That way, you'll have more of a chance to know if you want to date him, and same with him. And don't rush things. Let everything take its course. If you do, you may seem desperate...

umm....so u say u like the guy rite...and he says tht he also likes yu but he doesnt want to start a relationship...well,i dont mean to be rude or anything, just answering ur question but it seems like when he says he "likes" u, but he doesnt wanna date u or watever...he just wants to stay "friends"..probably he likes u as a frnd....and he's crushing on sumbody else...just be urself and keep up the frndship
