No it was a rumor that was fueled because some coins contained the images of a older Queen at the same time as a younger during the same year.

This error does not exist and no one ever sold one in the market.

Dont think so, if that was true, greedy collectionists would have grabbed them all long time ago, but should ask where the experts are, in the Bank of England in London, or browse www.bankofengland.co.uk or go to an auction.

I also have a rare £2 coin. It has a pigeon embossed (and the queen on the other side), and is a 1995 edition to commemorate 50 years of "peace" since the end of WW2

I think mine could cost some money in 50 years time, not now; yours could in 500 years time, because if you look very carefully, you will discover that there are a few different £2 coins in circulation.

Those coins are worth money - £2 to be exact.

Seriously - I doubt it very much. There are millions in circulation and coins never actually get withdrawn from circulation. Buy a couple of lottery tickets.

Don't know about that but 2p's that were made before 1984 are worth more than their face value as the copper they are made with are worth more.
