I doubt it since Adobe spelled it as one word. But it could be. Wasn't that an awesome song though? Wonder why Gary never made it any bigger?

Are you serious? lol
Gary wright is a singer and his first album was called Dream weaver. I had no idea that Adobe copied the name from his first album. I thought Adobe would be more clever than that.
Thats kinda funny. It tickles me funny bones.

Actually they have to pay the estate of John Lennon:
"I was the Dreamweaver
But now I'm reborn
I was the Walrus
But now I'm John"
Plans to introduce 'Adobe Walrus' have been cancelled due to disputes with Yoko Ono...

I suspect it would be the other way around..

Probably not, but you gave me a good laugh.
("...the other way around". .... )
Edited out of fairness. However, I have met people dumb enough not to know things that happened even a few years ago, eg. people who say "the US invaded Iraq to bring democracy, not find WMDs!"
One never knows.
