Lately my phone has only been able to send and recieve text messages. When I try to make a phone call it has problems. The call connects and the other person can hear everything, but I can't hear the phone ringing or the person talking when they answer the phone.

The two connection points in the ear piece are probably loose, try squeezing he area around the ear piece... it worked for me!

if not get a hand free kit... it'll be cheaper than repairing your phone if it is out of warranty!

First of all you need to list the model of the mobile brand with the question, second you have to figure it out if this problem happens lately after adding a software to the phone or it suddenly appears with the problem which means its a hardware problem (as in PC's), you better to check your phone mobile manuals or check the nearest store.

Sounds like there is a problem with either the speaker or your volume is turned down, try pressing UP or RIGHT on your keypad when making a call

take it back to the company you got it from, they will probably give you a new phone. I had that problem with one of my phones before.
