I want to download LimeWire, but I can either get basic or pro. Is it really worth the 20$ to get pro? Basic is free.

Hey, have you even thought about the features of the basic version of LimeWire?
Use the free LimeWire to search for the Pro version.
It's how i got mine.

You can download the basic version of Limewire. Then use it to do a search for Limewire Pro.

I would say no. But if you do, be aware that you are inviting ad ware, spy ware and virus into your hard drive. There is no way that Limewire can police what is uploaded. It's just to high of a volume. What is wrong with paying a buck for a song you like?
Whatever you decide to do, DON"T use it to get programs. It will, 9 times out of 10, have a virus attached to it.

I'd stay away from limewire if I were you, I downloaded it and next day my hard drive crapped out, I don't know if it was limewire that killed it but it was a new computer (this one actually) & it worked fine til I downloaded limewire. Just letting you know.

i have the pro one, I downloaded the free one first and in the search I put in limewire pro and I got it that way lol

My friends and I had Limewire in the past and it is all adware but it does let you download music. We just had the basic one and it worked for us.
