I am sooo going to show my age here...but... in the 70's there was a boy band from Scotland.. the Bay City Rollers... and they wore tartan.... so I wore tartan...tartan EVERYTHING!! Cut my jeans from the knees down and sewed on tartan with my favorite BCR's name (Leslie) in black lettering... tartan shawls.. tartan hats... and I should mention.... none of them matched so I do believe I kind of looked like a rainbow threw up on me!!!
