I was just think that, if a person was to change the past would they not be preventing their chance to travel in the past in the first place thus not making a change at all in the present. OR if a person did make a change in the past, it would not make a difference because it was that change that brought about the present.
Does that make sense?

I did think about it. if you did change the past than future would change...fine given. then wouldn't the present you changed mean that you never went to the past in the first place to make that change.

You have just described the concept of temporal paradox. This is a central theme in time travel science fiction. If you travel back in time and kill your grandfather, how then can you have ever existed? Well, the most common explanation is that we exist in a "multiverse" where many realities coexist simulaneously, and when you "travel in time" you actually traverse to a different reality where your actions have no bearing or effect on the reality that you came from. Each new change, choice, or action spawns a new reality...

It's my belief that even if you could travel back in time, time would be reversed for YOU too. So you would get younger and younger and your memories would be reversed too.
There is also a theory of quantum mechanics called "many universes", which states everytime an outcome is observed, in really all possible outcomes happen, but a new universe is created every time. Although this sounds unlikely, it is still a possiblity. This would make traveling to the past ok, because you will be travelling to a different parallel universe.

u cannot just change the past if u look at universal levels. Changin past is defined as;
"Travelling faster than light and somehow be able to freeze universe for some time or enter in present with same momentum in present"
Well, even if u go in past, u can't freeze universe nor u can re-enter present with same momentum...so, future or present cannot be changed...
It is like a discovery not invention

If time travel were possible. I think that if I traveled to the past and then came back to the present, the people that knew me when I left would never see me again. When I go back to the present, I am going to appear in a parallel universe
Just by being in the past, you are changing history. Suppose I appear unobserved in the desert in the middle of the night. I stay one second and then go back to the time I left. The people I knew before I left will not be the same people that I know now. Of course by doing nothing drastically in the past they would believe me to be the same person.
But what would happen if I went into the past and drastically altered history.
Killing your grandparents(I don't believe I would be killing my grandparents but the grandparents of my parallel universe version of me. When I go back to my original time, nobody would know who I am. I would not slowly vanish, looking at my hand as it goes transparent-LOL.
Or I could go back and convince myself not to build the time-machine. When I go back to my original time, there are going to be two different versions of me

I would like to have the chance to travel back in time.
Referring general no I didn't change something.
Referring my personal life, if I have had that opportunity, I would change much (maybe my whole life). And I'm sure that, will change my present at all.

actually there are two theories, one says that if we change our past, the present would change, and the conditions which made us go back in time will not be there and thus the past will not change. Another is that according to quantum mechanics. It says that there are many continuum in the world and if we go back to the past, it would be in another continuum and even if we change it, there won't be a change in the present of our own continuum.

definite, because you need to impression judgements of others that can reason a series reaction. even if, time go back and forth will require going speedier than the speed of sunshine, it really is largely no longer plausible until eventually wormholes exist, or black holes convey about white holes.
