Children today are introduced to so much more at a younger age than my generation.(baby boomers)... they have computers at school/home that does the "work" for them.. they have calculators at school that do their figuring for them. When they get jobs, the cash registers , also, think for them.. most couldn't even count out change from an ordinary purchase without the use of the newer registers. In answer to your question, no kids are i think much smarter than before.. but aren't challenged to use their "smarts" for everyday calculations. So, they are compelled to challenge themselves with more daring situations, just to keep from being bored. This of course doesn't apply to ALL children, but many are more daring.. as in crossing the road without looking, unprotected sex, and the like... and as we know both could be very deadly!

There is no question that kids are being dumbed down. I read an interesting article in Selecciones, the Spanish Readers Digest. It said that in ten years all the engineers will be from Asia and will disappear from the United States. Globalization is by nature communitarian in its final outcome. All that will be left to Americans are blue collar jobs at basic global wages. A typical American student compared to a typical Chinese student are worlds apart. The Chinese works; the American plays. Even an American who thinks he works, would be amazed if he saw the Chinese at school. Chinese graduate students no longer want to come to Harvard. All the brightest go to the prestigious Chinese Universities. Those who can't quite make it there, they are the ones who come to Harvard and our other schools here. Sad but true, Americans cannot compete on the academic level any more.

No stupid... i might particularly use another words, imbecilic-pin-headed-moronic-thick-head.... variety of component.(do no longer subject correcting) i'm uncertain of what's happening on the different section, yet suited now, someplace around my place, there is been photos of fetuses being dumped in rubbish containers, youth quitting college to cover their being pregnant, youthful mothers ineffective after unlawful abortions. There are impressive circumstances in the two quantity... the pitiful ones, and the by and throughout moronic ones(in a pitiful experience). intercourse coaching is ineffective, if it would not have the verbal replace component in it. regrettably no longer particularly everyone seems to be under pressure out an identical way(someplace in our brains), for this reason it takes somewhat greater beneficial than that to... avert this entire difficulty. common society institutions are crumbling, and component of the destiny era alongside them... It takes so a lot greater beneficial than intercourse coaching... and that i'm no longer speaking of extending the belief further. perhaps a lesson or 2 on accountability, dignity, humanity, logical thinking, ethics etc could be greater help. it is not a be counted of no longer understanding anymore, for some. it is an argument of no longer worrying... giving a concept on the implications... or the chain-reaction it is starting to be. Kids are getting cleverer, cleverer than the cleverest people a few decades ago, and most adults a few years ago...
It's just that people expect too much from children, they give them harder work, expect more, force them to do more complex stuff... So they get very angry and ignorant.
