There are traditionally only 4 elements - Fire, Water, Earth and Air / Wind. These were believed by the ancient greeks to be the fundemental basis of life.
Scientifically, there are not only several elements needed for life to exist but also certain conditions of environment also - the best elemental mix would struggle to form life in the near vacuum of space.
All known life is carbon based. The other elements needed (depending on environment) would include hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen.
If you are talking about throretical extra terrestrial life, this could be silicon based and have an entirely different chemistry to anything we would recognise.

The ancient world used to think earth, air, water and fire were the elements required to live. However this was an abstract idea not based on scientific knowledge we know today. In modern science an element is a substance made of up of only one type of atom.Carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are generally considered essential to living systems. However there are many more elements that required, as each element has different properties and hence different functions within the body. For example Calcium is required for bones, fluoride for teeth, sulphur is required to give proteins their shape.Metals such as zinc, copper and iron are also required. There are new elements being found that play a role in living systems even now,so the total number still remains a mystery but is certainly more than the ancient 5.

Wiccans do no longer have factors and in no way have. those questions have in undemanding words been doping up for the in simple terms precise a number of months, so i think there's a fiction e book it truly is suggesting any such element. that is incorrect. Wicca is about stability and the interaction between issues, such because the elements. focusing on a unmarried element is really particularly counterproductive in Wicca.
