On a application .....where it say professional references...what do you put there?

Professional references would be past employers or people with dignified careers

Professional references can be 1. A past employer, a friend who is a Professional in the related field/occupation you are applyng for 2. a teacher.professor if you took a course to learn this particular type of work. 3. Someone who can vouch for your experience for the type of work you are seeking.

They want the most recent employer's opinion of you, not your neighbor's opinion, not your friend's opinion, and not just anyone from any profession.

If you're new to the work force (never had a job), tell them you don't have any professional references; explain why.

professional companies that you have worked for that would be willing to give you a reference. this just means, not your friends, or your family.
