I can get rid of a cold in like 2 days or maybe even 1. I don't get colds that much anyway, once a year for me. I have a very strong immune system. Anyway, when I do have a cold, I have several strategies. What always works is eating a hot bowl of soup(yes, the old traditional grandmother/momma technique), I also found out doing exercise helps too, like running anything that's going to make you sweat real good(you're body will release toxins from out your body including the viruses that caused the cold in the first place), plus the exercise clears your head cold and chest cold quickly too. Drink plenty of water to get back what you lost and your cold should be gone in a day the most...guaranteed! I know I've got rid of cold one summer very quickly this way, I was playing basketball for a couple of hours, drunk water, later had hot soup, keep blowing my nose to get all that out of me, it was gone.
