My father died years ago. What would I buy him if he was still alive ? What a good question. I guess I would buy him something that would carry this message... "Hey Dad, I love you... how do you like that ?!"
Being a dad myself, I got the following one hour ago from my kids: (1) An English World Cup coffee mug from my son (at age 8 he is England's most dedicated fan)... (2) a FANTASTIC book solely with photos taken by US astronauts while on the surface of the Moon (my daughter knows I love space exploration books) and I got also two lovely kisses from both of them. And for all this they summoned me to the living room by texting me from the next room. They made my day.

I didn't buy anything for fathers day. Why would a date need any gifts? I did buy my father a gift. But, the date itself isn't getting any presents.

My own father? Not a damn thing! My baby daddy? Not a damn thing! My other baby daddy? Not a damn thing! Do they deserve anything? Hell naw, not even a stinkin' card! My youngest baby, her dad is doing a life sentence for killing 3 innocent people in September 2004. He still gives me the creeps and this happened even before he killed them!!! I am my own best father, for myself and for my darling children!
