Eiffel tower was desgined by the architect Gustave Eiffel and was supposed to be temporary when first erected. for the industrial fair. Itr was a milestone of the industrial age and a place for humanity to boast with glory of the human mind.
It was completed in 1889 -100th anniversary of the French revolution.
Entirely steel, the tower is composed of millions of pieces excellently formed together as to reflect a genius in architecture -> a deomonstration of what human mind and skills weree capable of.
