Yeah I hear that, it's because at first you didn't have a tolerance to them, then as time went by you began to obtain a tolerance. Then as time progresses you find that your high sucks, you have to wait all the time on some other dip chit to get them, that the people that do them suck, and it just gets old and mainly because of the tolerance thing you get irritated at all the other downfall easily because the crap doesn't blow you out of your mind anymore. I used to smoke all the time. I got sick of the people THE WAITING, the bullchit, and the backstabbing, so I quit!

Yes it does suck. I loved drugs too but they turned against me as well. When your life has become unmanageable and you become powerless over the drugs its time to stop. If you don't you will lose everything (if you haven't already).
I don't know what drugs you are taking. I hope they are not physically addictive. If they are you should cut back gradually or (better yet) sign yourself into a 30 day rehab.
Once you are clean you need to work the 12 steps of N.A. Just stay drug free for an hour at a time, then a day at a time. EAT RIGHT!! Go to meetings and you will start gaining the benefits almost at once!!
Good luck! Its great to finally be free

When the highs outwiegh the lows that's your body telling you to stop. It also depends what kind of person you are, I know people who have been doing pills, speed, MDMA, coke etc for years and they lead perfectly normal, happy lives, but it can become a bit of a nightmare for the less strong minded of us.
It's true that your first high is always the best, you can never get that back, but try having a break for a few months and then see how you feel. I do not agree that people who take recreational drugs are "stupid", in fact, most people who do pills etc are very intelligent and simply become bored with the mundanity of life.
The hell won't last forever, you can get help from counsellors and doctors, they are suprisingly sympathetic!
Also, you don't say which particular drug you did?

Yeah, thats what they do to you. They make you feel great when you're on them, but when you come down you feel shitty, so you want to take more to feel good. After a while, you start feeling shitty anytime you aren't on drugs and you need to take them just to feel normal. It's a vicious cycle. The only way out is to go through the hell of not having them. You wont be able to sleep, you'll have wicked dreams, you'll be emotional, but after a while you realise you CAN live without them and you get stronger. And the stronger you get, the more you realise you dont need them. Good luck.

Just goes to prove that getting involved with drugs isn't something people should be doing. It's really a self inflicted injury, and I'm sorry, but I ahve no sympathy with anyone who gets involved. I would help them get off. but if they don't want to they must live with the consequencies.

first time is always the best rush.
you can never get as high as you can when you don't quite know what to expect.
