Most likely the printers internal equipment is dirty, or clogged.
1) Right-click on your Epson Stylus icon, and go to "Properties"
2) Find the tab for the "Printing Defaults" link
3) Click on the "Utility" tab
4) Perform the following procedures:
* Nozzle Check"
* Head Cleaning
* Print Head Alignment
-----------------------------------------------------
If for some reason these steps do not work, it could be that the ink has dried out and the ink cartridge needs to be replaced.
Hope this helps.

in case you in undemanding words replaced the ink cartridge, verify you bumped off the skinny piece of invisible tape they use over the position the ink comes out. in case you probably did not in simple terms replace the ink cartridge, and also you've not used the computer for awhile and now the ink doesn't bypass and print on the paper. Take the ink cartridge out, get a tender cloth and hose down it with some warmth water, and sparkling the realm of the ink cartridge the position the ink comes out of. positioned the cartridge decrease back in and note if it prints.

Hopefully it's not the printer head fault. If it is, you may be better off replacing it with a new printer because they cost quite a bit, unless you still have a manufacturer or store's warranty.
Why not try calling Epsion's Customer Service or Tehnical Support team, they have the right technicians to guide you. Plus, they will know best about what's wrong with your RX425 model.

Ink is probably dried up on the cartridge. Take the cartridge out and on the underneath side there will be a copper colored square. Put rubbing alcohol on a cotton cloth or q-tip and rub it gently for a while. If that doesn't work, buy a new cartridge

the jets are blocked up, this happens alot when the printer is rarely used (its normal)
go into printing preferances, then maintenance, then head cleaning...
or....if you have a lcd screen on the front of your printer, go through the menu and do the same..

Try using the head cleaning program that should have come with the printer.
