I am not from the 60's generation, but my parents were. That is just how things were back in the 60's. Things were just so inicent and non-sexual like they are now.
The 60's was just another generation.

40 years from now "fall out boy" for example will appear silly to the teens, that's just the way it is. it seemed cool for the beatles and other groups to do that at the time even though now it looks dumb, at least the beatles moved passed that stage in there career.

our level of defining what is nerdy on stage today differs from what it was then because during the 60's these bands were seen as amongst the best of that time. so their attitude should be seen in the reality of the period.
