Does anyone know the best way to remove these marks without repainting the wall?

You could try sugar soap, or Cif (Jif!) Bewarned though - once you clean that section of wall it will look lighter and cleaner than the rest of the wall, so you may have to clean the whole wall!

Use a white cloth, as jay cloths and coloured cloths occasionally rub their colour off onto the wall. Also, don't rub too hard or you could take the paint off.

If it doesn't work you may well have to resort to painting...

Most of the suggestions mentioned by other people (baby wipes, Mr Clean wipes etc) could work, but if you keep seeing the mark and if the wall in question is white, use chalk (for blackboards or for playing in the street) to cover the mark......

Baby wipes or wet wipes usually do the trick, I use them for all sorts of cleaning around the home!

Rub the couch over the entire wall so you can't tell.
