It's fine, there is a U.S. military installation there and not much else. It is a Muslim country but their beliefs are far from what our enemies think.

Personally I wouldn't go. But I hear there you can duty free shop! The weather can get nice and warm but isn't Bahrain "dry" no liquor? That wouldn't do for me!
