I know they can't have the leaves but is it safe for them to eat the tomato?

i believe so , when i had my hamsters (7 of them) i used to feed them tomatoes occasionally and they loved it . just don't give them too much of it or they might get sick .

dont give your hamster tomatos or any citrus fruit but bananas are good and any hard fruits are excellant

I dont know about tomatoes, but I know mine loves honey roasted cashews and peanuts.

sure!my hamster loves them!it can securing their water.but do not feed them with sweetness foods.example honey or chocolate.its deathly for them!
