Well, Craig Burley about 8 years ago, and a year later, in the last Scotland England encounter at Wembley, Scotland won 1-0. Just thought I'd add that. And, if you're only as good as your last match, then two mediocre wins, full of contestable and own goals (and granted one 90th minute belter by Gerrard, the God of all things football), then England are hardly World champion material. Stop deluding yourself. At least we Scots know we're sh*te and have a lot of work to do, unlike the English press whose watches all seem to be set 40 years too slow.

Somehow i can't imagine Scotland playing football at this level... actually they needn't bother... ENGLAND will bring the glory back to Britain so the Scots can have one more reason to go to the pubs... lol

they only had 8 month calendars then julius caesar hadn't along with augustas been added to the calendar so unable to give a diffinitive answer based on dates as we know them
