I am glad you asked this question because i thought i had the only gay dog in scotland but after reading the replies that you got it has put my mind at rest. It must be quite common for dogs to hump dogs as well as bitches. Thanks for being so helpful

I can't say that I've ever seen a gay dog in the real world (although I've seen one in the TV show South Park).
Homosexuality is natural in many animals, especially in mammals and birds. I wouldn't worry about it too much :)

Male dogs hump other dogs as a way of showing them who is superior or who is the boss. It's a basic pack behaviour.

Yeah, my dog was gay.
It's probably for the best as no one who owns a ***** can claim you and your dog should take responsibility for any puppies!
EDIT: Will you stop doing things like that Yahoo answers, ***** is a perfectly legitimate word in this context.

Yes, my girl dog thinks shes a boy, its weird, she pees like a boy dog, "humps" things like a boy dog, and is overly aggressive like one. Homosexuality in animals is not uncommon. There is one species of penguins where like 30% of the population is homosexual.

According to Joan Roughgarden, homosexuality has been documented in over 450 different vertebrate species.

It is possible, we had gay rams once - we noticed that a ram had blue chalk up it's back, and that shouldn't happen! But what does your dog do?
