2+2=4
4=5?
Theorem: 4 = 5
Proof:
-20 = -20
16 - 36 = 25 - 45
4^2 - 9*4 = 5^2 - 9*5
4^2 - 9*4 + 81/4 = 5^2 - 9*5 + 81/4
(4 - 9/2)^2 = (5 - 9/2)^2
4 - 9/2 = 5 - 9/2
4 = 5

From 1984: The greatest power that the state can exert over it's members is convincing them that 2 + 2 truly is 5. In other words, the state (e.g. government) can convince you that anything they say is true, regardless of the fact that you know that it is not.
Or according to a t-shirt from thinkgeek.com, 2+2=5 for extremely large values of 2.

consider2+2=4
we know that,
1:1=2:2
similarly,it goes on...
that is 4:4=5:5
4(1:1)=5(1:1)
1:1 gets cancel
therefor 4=5
-----2+2=5

1(husband) unite with 1 wife & a child is born because of their union in the middle,
1+1 becomes three.
When 2 childless couple joins them. totally there will be 5 persons.
It is simple addition with a hidden multiplication (procreation) involved in the process.

If you have any logic in asking this question, you can post it for support of mathematicians.
