Sounds like your condencer burned out. Time to call a repairman or replace the unit all together.

Sounds electrical. Unplug it right away. I think I would replace it depending on the age of it. And possibly the cost of repair compared to replacement would be a consideration.

central/or window? window then replace it - cheaper.if central=turn the circuit breaker off to the ac and furnace unit.and call repair man,probably is the fan moter on furnace.it blows the cold air .your condensing unit is outside so that isn't it as first one said.

when was the last time you changed the filter? Have you had the ducts cleaned recently?
Hate to tell you but the answer you are looking for is a complete crap shoot with the info provided... need more info!

Oh, you should try to flip the braker. If that doesn't work, check the filter. If that fails, cut the power, and call someone to fix it. You don't want an electricle fire!

First unplug it, carefully. Get someone to help you assess it. Dont do it alone, until you know there is no fire hazard
