I am really not afraid of death. I am scare of hell if I had to go there. Hopefully not as I am a Muslim I believe in God All Mighty and do not take partners with him and try to obey Him. I ma really thankful to the God All Mighty that I was born in a Muslim house (Although my ancestors were Hindus worshipping all non sense and doing all non sense) and the biggest and most precious gift of the God is in our hands i.e. Quran which is protected letter by letter in its original language with all its immense beauty, freshness, and tranquility and motivation. I will be really schocked and will not like to see even if I am cut into pieces and burnt in fire to loose Quran and Islam.By the way we consider all the Prophets of the God i.e. Abraham, Moses, Jesus (PBUT) Muslims and thier religion Islam. However the Quran is the last and the final edition of all true divine books of the God and therewfore it is protected from dust and rust for last 1400 years.

Life has been a struggle at times.. but death is not a fear of mine.. That said.. I am not striving to get there in any hurry..
I fear deep water.. or falling through ice..
Not much chance of death with either of them if you are smart about it.. but I avoid the opportunities at all costs..

I am more concerned with the manner of my death, and mostly fear dying a slow death in a convelescent hospital, over a period of years, as my body slowly weakens and dies. That's what I don't want. I'd rather it be quick.

Life. Death is certain and final. Life has too many variables that are out of my control. Life requires a lot of effort, and even with that, there are no guarentees of the desired outcome.
Life scares me, it always has.

Something happening to a family member, especially my daughter. When you become a parent it takes over the fear for yourself and replaces it with protection for your children.

is this making an assumption that all people fear death? But all one ought to fear is YHWH Elohim - for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
