I WANT RECEIPTS FOR ALL SENT MESSAGES BUT CANNOT SEEM TO SET THIS UP, I HAVE ALTERED THINGS UNDER TOOLS, BUT THAT ONLY WORKS IF I USE MICROSOFT OUTLOOK- SAYING A I NEED A ACCOUNT POP 3 SERVER SMTP CODE? ANY IDEAS?

been told i can only do this through outlook and if its connected to an exchange? how do i connect to an exchange through outlook and recieve receipts for emails?

Exchange is a brand of email server and you as an end user don't have any choice in what email server you connect to-- that's up to the people who manage and maintain the servers. You won't be able to get reciepts for your Yahoo mail because Yahoo does not use Exchange servers. For your second problem, you can use Outlook to read/write Yahoo mail but you must pay a fee; it's about $20/year and if you go in your account to the Upgrades link, you can see all the details. Once you pay, they tell you how to connect Outlook to the POP and SMTP servers. But the upgraded account still won't get you your read reciepts.
Many companies of all sizes use Microsoft Exchange for mail services but very few Internet Service Providers do.

cannot do from Yahoo messenger Only outlook and if its connected to an exchange server
