download acceleration plus is a software ! it is mainly a file download software which download any content in many parts !it means it downloads any data with many provided servers at one time ! but according to me it doesnt increase the download speed !speed remains the same as in ordinary downloading ! so buddy my advice is tht if u have free space in ur hard disk thn load it otherwise its a total waste !

Download accelerator plus or DAP is a very popular download manager with millions of users worldwide. It is completely free and can be upgraded online free of cost. It has a number of useful features like scheduled download and auto internet disconnection and\or shutting down of computer upon download completion. it is a computer program that tricks the site that you are downloading from into thinking there are three or four computers each asking for the same file, then when this computer who we call the host agrees then download accelerator asks for different parts of the same file on each of the connections, so the download goes faster, it then reassembles the parts into one file for you.
