What you've is nice. be conscious that less than CA regulation, each fixed-blade knife is a "dirk or dagger," as is an open folding knife if it locks contained in the open position, and so is any pointy element (screwdriver, knitting needle) which will properly be utilized as a weapon, a minimum of if the possessor intends to apply it as a weapon. There are also some state guidelines of knives particularly places, which do contain length factors, particularly at colleges (Pen C 626.10), authorities homes (Pen C 171b), and airports (Pen C 171.5).

Butterfly knives are totally illegal to carry but you can carry straight blade as long as it's 5 inches or less. Butterflys are illegal because of the quickness that they can be drawn against an officer.

See the link below for CCW permits...The attorney involved is totally awesome and if you need help with a CCW issue and it's got some type of constitutional value, he'd be the one to contact.

Nothing longer or wider than one inch. That's for almost all states including Cali.
