What kind of question is that? Lesbians are women who like women, gays are men who like men, bisexual are men and women who are attracted to both and transgendered is like a male wanted to become a female and a female wanting to become or in the process of becoming a man!

Lesbians - Females sexualy atracted to other Females.

Gay - Another word for homosexual, but often used for just males that are sexualy atracted to other males.

Bisexual - Some one sexualy atracted to both males and females.

Transgendered - Medicaly it's some one who has the combinations of both male and female sexual organs, though usaly neather is fully developed... This is a result of being a natural chimera or having a unusal combination of sex-genes.

Though... in this case I beleave transgendered is used as another word for transexual....

Transexual - Is some one who there mental gender dose not match there physical sex. They often feel a need to corect this by altering there physical sex to match there mental gender via a sex change operation. This also aplies to some one who has gone through this.

Hope that answers your questions but you could have just as easly looked the words up.

CrazyCat, you were almost right on.

some definitions first:
sex- refers to male/female, is based on the genitalia you have
gender- refers to traits of masculinity/femininity (these aren't set in stone and everyone actually has characteristics of both)

someone born with the reproductive organs of both men and women is called "intersexed" or a "hermaphrodite".

transgender means that someone's physical sex doesn't match up with the gender they identify with (they have a penis, but feel like a woman, or vice versa)

a transsexual is someone who has actually had sex reassignment surgery so that their genitalia resemble the gender they identify with (FTM/F2M- female becomes male; MTF/M2F- male become female)
