Well honestly the strongest force in nature is indeed a force, and not a measurement of temperature. The strongest force in nature that we know of is the Nuclear Strong Force which is responsible for holding together the nucleus of an atom.

In terms of heat or cold, I would have to say heat, because you can make something as hot as you want, but you can only make it cold to a certain temperature (-273 deg. C)

Technically there is no "cold". There is only heat, or energy of particles in a piece of matter, OR the absence of heat. Your refrigerator removes heat from the atmosphere inside it. The heat energy of the items inside radiates off them into the cooler region which then has the heat removed by the refrigeration process etc.
So, I would have to say Heat has more "force" since heat is a form of energy.
But, like a previous answerer stated, the strongest of the four forces in nature [1. strong nuclear force 2. weak nuclear force 3. electromagnetism 4. gravity] is the strong nuclear force. The weakest of the four forces is gravity.

do you know the Aesop story of the cold North wind and the sun having an argument as to which was the strongest? They decided to have a competition and see who could remove the coat from a man walking down the street.

The north wind blew his strongest but all the man did was hold his coat tighter to him.

The sun beamed her strongest. The man took off his coat, and his shirt.

This proves that heat is stronger than the cold!

(in actuality, I think it is the two working together, one after the other, that causes the most damage. for example, to split rocks, water falls into crevasses, the cold freezes it, splitting the rock. The heat melts the water, letting the rock relax, the cold freezes the water, increasing pressure, heat melts it and so on, working like bending a piece of metal backwards and forwards until it snaps.)

I hope you liked the story! (actually, the moral of the story is that kindness works better than threats!)

You must inquire about the stronger force between these two because neither is not the strongest force of nature. i can prove that heat is the stronger by the global warming phenomenon. why the "cold" that embedded within the ice of antarctic could not overcome the effect of raised heat. It had been recorded, mostly at march 2006, that, a very great amounts of antarctica ice had dissolved to water

Neither heat nor cold is a force. The strongest force in nature is the gravitational force.

Interesting one!

The heat is responsible for powering the weather systems, and hence the rivers, etc.

But don't forget the tremendous power that cold has had in the past!... Much of the world has been shaped as a result of Glaciers, and what would happen if all the Icebergs melted?

Both are important, and both play an equal role in the delicate balance of the planet, a balance that sadly man is trying to upset!

heat ..bcuz transfer of heat from a body gives a feelin of colness& 2 that body( due to loss in kinetic energy). The body which receives heat feels hot(due to an increase in kinetic energy).......So undoubtedly strongest force is heat

BCUZ COLD IS A STATE WHEN HEAT IS NT AVAILABLE!!

Heat because it can totally transform matter into more heat. Heat consumes, cold does not.

that's a good question. i was watching X3 when ice man and pyro were battling eachother. this very question was going through my head. i think that fire would over come ice (even though in the movie ice man won). i think fire has a greater impact. but then again ice and a forceful pressure can be the same. but i think fire would over-rule.
