Probably there are more than three versions - depending on the religion.
The Darwin theory says that all life developed out of the sea - and the last step was, that mankind developed itself of the apes, nearest related to mankind are Chimpansees (spelling?) and Bonobos, by the way.
The Darwin theory actually is the only one to be scientifically proofed and accepted - as far as I no, there are no other theories seriouly coming into question.
The bible says, that the earth and all life on it was created within seven days.
And other religions have other believes...
