ok there was 3 guys that kidnapped me and threatened to kill me and my family if i stay here in the state i am in now along with my daughter and if i was to move to another state where my family is they would be killed too...i went to the cops and told them all that was sone and said to meand some things that was said only my ex would know and the cops think its him and the copd in the other state thinks so too...im going to get a lawyer and fight for her do u think there is a good chance i could get her? if i do i am out of this state....someone told me i probably could because they threatened her life as well and her father doesnt even keep her his family does but im scared that it really is him because of what the guys was say they said they were paid to do it and they know my ex very well so i want out with my daughter before something happens to her...

yeah i did get the police right after it happened...and yeah we were married and have shared custody but i feel as long as she is with her dad shes in danger and i cant just get up and leave i would go to jail for takin her without courts consent thats why i want to fight and do it right

unfortunately, even if you had sole custody of your daughter, you may not be able to leave the state without a court order specifically stating that you have permission to do so...

Whew...I'm not understanding it all but if three guys kidnapped me I'd report em to the police (doesn't say if you actually did that or not), I'd go and GET my daughter and I'd go wherever I wanted to and file for custody and get restraining orders. If he's your ex, there's obviously already an order of some type of custody distribution, unless you are saying he's your ex just in the sense that you and he were together, had a baby, never got married or divorced or got any kind of court order resolving the custody issue. Again, I'd be going and taking my daughter from wherever she is now.

You are a little run-on here, but, the only thing I suggest is you take whatever evidence you have (it would be even better if your ex is arrested and convicted of this crime) and petition the court for custody. Be prepared for a long, drawn-out affair, though. It doesn't sound like he'll give up easily (unless he's in jail!).

You shoudl be able to get custody get any police records of what is going on now
