Do you buy pasta to have something to put sauce on or do you like pasta with very littlesauce at all.

It is really all about the sauce. I swear you could put a great sauce on a car bumper and it would taste good. However, if you put a lousy sauce on the best pasta all you do is break the dog from begging at the table.

Sauce can cover up a lot for bad pasta

I believe pasta is more important and healthier than the sauce. It is almost like asking what is more important, the car or its air conditioner. Air conditioning is nice and almost a complete must for drivers, but having the actual car is more important.

the sauce is more important cause it has all the flavor in it.

but if i am eated pasta with butter sauce tossed with shrimp or chicken the pasta has to be a good one-

i like the pasta i can enjoy it with a little butter or sour creme or just parmajan cheese on it. the sauce needs to be very good if im goi ng to have sauce i like ragu

Pasta, that is your base for the meal, if it is not done properly the sauce won't matter, it just won't be good.

Sauce... noodles really dont taste like much but they do complete the sauce...
