Okay, My sister has had to have morphine when she gave birth and was in the hospital, well for the last couple of years she feels the urge to shoot up or what not....so we were wondering where I could go to find out about why she craves it. A web page would be app. also we tried www.webdr.com and we didnt find nothing.

I know morphine is a habit forming drug...lol...what Im asking is would it cause her to feel the urge to shoot up...and Im looking for a WEB SITE...not just a general answer...I want FACTS not ADVICE. Thank you if anyone can help me with this information.

Well I am on morphine pills every day for my back pain and they are really strong to make me sleepy a lot and very tired...
I do not have any cravings of any kind that I know of, other than my usual chocolate cravings, but I had that long before the morphine...
I am also diabetic so that's where the chocolate fits in...
You mean cravings for more morphine???
Well I don't have that, but I am on a low dose each day...
It helps my pain so I don't feel I need more like a drug addict...
Perhaps your sister had a higher dose and does have the cravings for more of the drug, but I would think that would only happen if she were on it for an extended period of time...
Not just for a birth in the hospital...
I would consult a doctor or take her to one...
