I despise him and am somewhat surprised he hasn't been assasinated already.

I think that President George W. Bush has a good heart and that his intentions are well meaning if not always the most intelligent or thought out. I think that being the son of a president made it almost a requirement for him to go into politics. He does not seem comfortable in this role. I do not hate him because I think he is just a puppet acting out other people's orders.

Personally i believe that the American people are the idiots for electing him. Although he did win by a small margin, HE STILL WON! America will never have a great president untill they start respecting the job. Look at the past presidents we have had, we have not had a great person running or in office since the 60's or 70's... America had degraded the position so much that more children rather grow up to be the richest man in the world then the (supposed) most respected man in the world.

He is a very good man. but for you morons that don't understand, here goes:
Well now, lets see if we can put a few things in perspective for those among us who are the truly imbecilic, moronic, ignoramuses who think GWB is stupid.
Shall we compare what a stupid guy has done to what any of you have done - don't worry this will take about a second.
Here is a guy who, out of of 300 million people, has been selected twice to lead the country and who serves in the most powerful position of anyone in the country.
The USA is the most powerful, both economically and militarily, country on a planet with over 6 billion people on it. Does that make him the smartest guy on the planet? Probably not. Does it make him smarter than you? Without a doubt.
But let's continue. Shall we?
While you might consider him stupid, he was apparently smarter than the 100 million or so democrats who tried to defeat him in his last 8 elections. Plus, he received higher grades in college than the latest 2 liberal candidates threw up against him.
So, if according to you he is stupid, how has he also accomplished all of these things against people who you must consider smarter than you or why would you vote for them?
I would challenge you to take a look at your own pathetic, monumentally insignificant and truly worthless life and tell us all what you have accomplished in a way of even the most remote comparison.
The purpose of the question is to find exactly where YOU must inevitably rank on the intellectual scale in comparison since you have virtually nothing, either in your past or future, which will come close to a single one of gwb's accomplishments?
Looking at it that way, if you consider him stupid and he has accomplished all of these things, it must kind of make you feel about as insignificant and worthless as a drop of water in the worlds oceans. Or, to put it in terms you can relate to, a piece of cow sh*t in the middle of a 100,000 acre pasture.
How do you feel now?

My personal view of the current president is that he will someday be seen as one of or the worst president ever.
I don't think he's as stupid as some of the far left make him out to be, but I do believe he is being used by some HORRIBLE people to bring about some really bad policies.
I don't hate him, but I disagree with his administration on almost EVERY point.
from an independent who was a republican until the 2004 presidential election cycle.

I have major issues with him. I think he was very unprepared to lead and was only a pawn for people like Cheney and Rumsfield. However, after the interview that aired the other night, I do have a bit (all be it a very small amount) of respect for him regarding his faith. For him to make the claim that he does not believe that the Bible is 100% factually accurate was a big deal for me to hear, especially from him. Other than that - as long as he stays on his ranch and off of mine - I don't give him a second thought.

He is one of the best presidents ever. He is not perfect, but some of the things people blame him for (like the economy) are things that the president does not control. The media has been digging hard for any "dirt" they can find on him, and they have always come up empty. That's because he has something many people lack - INTEGRITY. He is who he is and he does not waver. He is honest and kind-hearted. We need more leaders like him.

I voted for him ...Kerry would have been a bad president but Bush is doing a good job , granted I wish we could bring our men and women home from Iraq but he is the president..............His job is one that I don't think I would want to have , Just like the FEMA Director who resigned shortly after Katrina hit...There isn't anyway I would want that job and I think that they did the best they could and to force the head of FEMA to resign was wrong...I would like to see somebody in there trying to calm the people and do what ever had to be done after such a tradgedy...But yes I think Bush is doing a fine job

I have absolutely no problem with George W Bush. I'd go watch baseball with him, maybe throw a few football passes at eachother. He's not a bad person, I just don't think he's fit to be our president.

Absolutely no disrespect to the poster but what is with this fixation with Dubya? If you don't like the fact he's President it's too late. He is. All you can do is what you can do to fix what you can fix, help where you can help, and make changes where you can make changes. To inspire or provoke so much hate is sick. I think everyone should channel their words and thoughts into something that is actually productive, effective or helpful.

I feel Bush lied and cheated to get into office, and I think the election was rigged by his family's contacts. He's been lying to us about the "war" and the reasons it's continuing. He should NEVER have been kept in a second term, and its to our country's discredit that we were unable to oust him when we had the chance. I would wish him dead, but I believe Dick Cheney would be far worst in the office.
