Wow I had this same problem before. So I asked my cousin (who which is a model) for advice. She said deffinately Cream and Sugar by Mary Kay. You can order them offline or from a person who sell mary kay produckts from that catalog. Its a little pricy for lip gloss (around $11) but hey its sooo totally worth it!! I own like 4 of them because I never want to run out!! It FAB-U-LOUS!! Hope you find it that too!! =]

I have tan skin as well and I find that a nude or salmon pink gloss goes great with my color. But be careful not to go too pink or else your skin tone will clash with the brightness. With tan skin...the more natural looking, the better.
EDIT: "Nude" doesn't mean clear. Go to the MAC website and look at their nude colors...this is for the post below.

well i think that "nude lipgloss" means clear gloss. you can use a shade of lipstick that would suit your skin colour and apply a dab of gloss on the bottom middle lip. you can use any kind of lipgloss but be sure to use a little bit of lip balm before you use lipgloss because after a few minutes of applying the lipgloss you could get a line of that white stuff which is really annoying. i like to use any lipgloss thats glittery :D

I think a pinkish or peacy lip gloss would be best...
Try bath and body works, or even walmart.
Don't go for the cheap kind, it works worse and doesn't look as good. (I actually did a science project on cheap lipgloss vs more expensive lipgloss. More people voted for the more xpensive kind (they didn't know which was which) also the more xpensive lasted longer)

Just use Vaseline. It will make your lips just as glossy and smooth-looking as regular lip gloss, plus it's a great moisturizer! You can use it alone for a light summery look or just put it over your lipstick.

Mary Kay has lip glosess that go clear and they also have the ones that go tann. Other than this, Mary Kay also sells a lip spa package. Basically, what it does is softens your lips while giving moist to them. My mom sells it so I get to try all sorts of things.

Aveda has an incredible lip-glaze that is called Kamara Fruit. Made from natural, organic, and edible ingredients. Try it out at an Aveda salon or store near you.
