tannaa!! 9 o'clock sharp? what does that mean?

i looked at the clock when I got up and what I saw there was 9 sharp (9:00). superstition: what does that mean? but what if i looked at the clock when it was 9:01 or 9:02... etc?

I have a theory that it might mean that 9 sharp is the time you set your alarm for...

I have heard people make specific observations about 'noticing' one time more than others - I know someone who swore that she accidentally looks at the clock at 12:34 without fail twice a day. The only thing I can say is that 'unusual' times stick out in our brains... If you had looked at the clock at, say, 8:57, it would have meant nothing to you and you wouldn't have thought about it. But since 9:00 has a special meaning, when you coincidentally happened to look at the clock at exactly 9:00, it seemed unusual to you. Try to bear in mind another random number - say, 12 past the hour - and you'll find that you seem to look at the clock it's 12 past the hour unnaturally often.

9 is the most auspicious number in Chinese tradition. If you notice, the entrance door of any palace in China, you will see 9 golden thimbles across and 9 down. 9 icons on the roof of palaces (this was only allowed in palaces.) etc

Honestly, I think the answer to your question is: it means it is 9am. But being superstituos, you may anticipate something good and auspicious and will last for a long time.

i don't know what 9:00 means but i ALWAYS see 7:21. it's weird but cool. I wouldn't worry about it
