Like you, I feel they should never ever be released and I think micro chipping them is a great idea.
This is a little off topic, but I'd like to see our soldiers and civilians, working in foreign hostile countries, also micro-chipped with location sensors. Then, if they are ever abducted, they can be found and rescued before they are beheaded.

I agree that it is very difficult to keep track of sexually violent predators. The lists that everyone can view are often out of date, and the SVP are often times not checked on periodically like they should be in order to verify addresses and employment. But what would microchipping do? You can't track people using a microchip, only identify them if they are caught. It would be entirely unethical to use such a practice, in my opinion. You can hate me, curse me. SVP have human rights, too. They are still people. You have to understand that if they are released to the public, they were deemed safe enough to live in society. And yes, that decision is not always the right one. But we can't just go locking up every SVP for life. I don't want to give too much opinion here. I am not an expert on this topic, and there is so much more to this than meets the eye.

I don't believe we should ever release sexual predators especially those who target children 10 and under, those who commit rape on anyone or incest on minor children under 18 years of age. But if we must release some for minor sexual crimes, then yest, micro chip them.
Also, this could work for all criminals on probation and parole in order to keep track of their whereabouts. Also for habitual bank robbers and second time offenders!

Theoretically, that sounds like a good idea. The courts need to study this concept in-depth as this type of crime is "incurable". Any and all ideas to curb this type of criminal activities should not be wasted.

See- now I was thinking more along the lines of being castrated before release. But I guess chippin' em would work too.

that would be nice. i know in some places some sexual predators have to wear special ankle or wrist devices so the police will know where they are at all times.

A .45 caliber "microchip" in the back of the skull would be fine with me for those monsters.

Great Idea!! Now, if someone could think of what can be done to the ones who get away with it because their victims are "too young to testify"

We could save a lot of money by just lining them up and shooting them in the head...
