I'm turning 15 & I'm only 4'11". I doubt I'm going to grow. I hate how everyone always makes fun of me because of my height. I got used to it but sometimes it hurts and it gets tiring. So is 4'11" really that short?

one of my friends is your height and she's almost 17. she acts confident and doesn't let on that she cares about her height. the first week she came to my school, she got asked out by so many guys and it was all bc of her confidence. so don't worry about what other ppl think of you- i get made fun of bc i have ears that stick out a little. but i got used to them and now i even join in when people laugh bc i learned to love my uniqueness and i wouldn't change them for the world. just be comfortable with yourself and everyone else will follow your lead.

no because you don't have to be tall in order to get what you want done and achieve in lif ea ll you have to do is be yourself an be good at what you do because if that's the case everyon e in this world would be the same an how can that make you special from any one else its a reason for everything just do what you do best .an i'm only 5'2 an i'm 27 years old do that make me i know i 'm not going to grow but i still make it in life well living good.

It depends on where you're living.
If you look e.g. at many countries in Asia, your height would be just nice and average.
In other countries, the average might be a bit higher.
The problem for you is now to go through your school days. Once you're an adult, no one will bother you any more.
In fact, I personally prefer women like you...

you're young you still have time to grow don't worry about it I'm almost 18 years old and I'm only 5'2" I get picked on for my height but I'm glad that I'm not a really tall girl

don't think so... i've always been told that i'm really short, and i'm 5'4 since like 11th grade- but i just totaly ignore everyone-i happen to think that short is cute on a girl- it's the guy that needs to grow.

no being short is awesome i'm only 5'2 and i love it don't be embarrassed about your height and when people make fun of you just tell them atleast i can walk under a table without ducking hehe!!!

I'm only 5'2 so I know how you feel. I just tell people that I'm not short, they're just freakishly tall and that throws off the curve.

4'11 isn't that short, besides short girls are cute, embrace the fact that your not just like everyone else.
