Black holes are collapsed and therefore the last stage of supergiant stars. They have the greatest density of any known objects in the universe. However, the nearest black holes to the earth are so far away that they will never adversely affect humans.

Black holes are only a theory to explain what we can see in outer space. They may, or may not, exist. IF,( big "if" that one), they exist then what is surmised about them has to fit the evidence we can see. There are two problems with current thinking about "Black" Holes, both involve quantum mechanics, a subject I have only a crude grasp of.

Firstly, singularities, the point at which data disappears from the universe, according to quantum mechanics data cannot disappear from the universe.

Secondly, time apparently stopping locally around or in the singularity, again, according to quantum mechanics, time cannot stop!

So, what is really happening out there? Without the existence of something like a "Dark Star" made up of "Dark Matter", I have no reasonable explanation. Gravitational collapse , we are all agreed, is probably what created these things, but whether they are black holes or dark stars, your guess is as good as mine.

Black holes are what becomes of a collapsed star. Black holes suck up everything near it including a neighboring star. Black holes can affect humans and earth by suck us into... well we do not know where black holes go, i think so people say another dimension, but believe what you want.

like everything else stars undergo certain stages
& then finally die. stars produce energy by fusion reactions.wen stars has used all the hydrogen at its centre , it starts fusing helium into carbon. if mass of the star is only a few times than solar mass ,the fusion process stops.as energy production inside the star stops, its core contracts under its own weight. the density becomes very high &it becomes a white drawf star( size of a planet....shines by radiating heat stored during its lifetime...it is a dead star.after this bigger ones explode as supernova or end up as neutron star or black holes. in black holes the gravitational pull is so high not even light can escape out of them.Dr.S.Chandrashekar found this out.
if our sun comes to this stage all life on earth ll vanish coz there ll be no source of energy without the sun...as sun is very imp. 4r sustainance of life

Blackholes being dead stars are something most interesting. No they won't kill you if you go near them, they wil just ingulf you in some sort of infinite mass and you will be lost in time.
Blackholes are wormholes which are gates to time travel. U can just come some millions of light years near them and they will drag you in and you will go in future. But, the problem is that you won't return. No u won't die. But, u won't be able to come out because the 'gates' of worm hole opens for a fraction of a second.

The time i enough for u to enter but not for you to go!

black holes are regions of space in which the pull of gravity is greater than the speed of light beyond a certain radius. If the planet falls into one, we all spaghettify into kilometer-long strings and die. If you fall into one, you die. Plain and simple. Incidentally, time is supposed to stop in those things.

If that got here about I doubt we ought to work out a lot. because the black hollow approached, it ought to draw cloth from the solar (and different planets) into it. that ought to create an accretion disc, that can be heated to extremely intense temperatures, actual blinding us with mild (and deadly radiation). We couldn't see a element. Our planet, and us, will be decreased to unmarried neutrons and fed into the accretion disc. it really is bye bye birdie i'm afraid.

actuall they are died down stars whis died many years back and finally formed this dark space called black hole and acoeding to interpretaion its going to engulf whole of solar system includin sun and earth

black holes are mega stars that imploded upon themselves. they could effect us by causing wierd gravitational pulls, but only star gazers and astrologists would be interested in that.
