I would do it in rows and seperate the rows like two feet or so... Or you can have them mixed... you have tall plants like corn or sunflower or beans spread over it like two feet apart three or four seeds in one little area then have vine plant pumkin, low growing plants even tomatos laying on the ground or tall with suport...

Select a section of your garden for the vegetables. Dig up and turn the earth, adding a soil conditioner to improve the quality of the soil. Get yourself some seedlings and plant accordingly. Sprinkle some slow release fertiliser around, and water well. Water everyday and watch them grow.
