I have always wanted to play the drums, and i just graduated highschool and im going off to college am i too old to start to learn how to play the drums?

"DUDE! Pick those Stix up and learn to play" I friend of mine told that to her boyfriend to be a smart a**, she also said that if you think that you're too old to learn anything, then why go off to college? i agree with her, and this aplies here as well. get acquainted with the skins Boy, and start learnin!

It's never too late to learn anything, nor pick up a musical instrument :) Having a full time job will also help you rent or purchase a set, half set, snare drum or whatever you need :)

Dude your not to old..... I know guys that 30 and 35 that are still taking gutiar lessons and learning how to play the drums they are starting a band...

No way..my husband is 47 & he is just starting playing the drums about a year ago! He loves it & he has found some great web sites that really help! Like: http://www.drummerworld.com or http://www.vicfirth.com

You are NEVER too old to learn something new! This guy I know didn't start playing guitar until he was 17 and now he's a frigging wizard on guitar! Good luck! : )

No way man . I started at 40 and have been playing for 7 years . You will have a blast just don't think when you play , just feel it .

You are never too old to try and do new things. Get yourself a music tutor or self instructed tapes and make some music.
