I saw this exercise on a News TV show a few weeks back. I guess the goal of the exercise was to get people out of their comfort zone and try their best to make a profit.

So, I do have $1,000 but NO business experience; what would you do to solve this business problem?

Thanks!

Forgot to mention; specific answers would be appreiciated as opposed to general ones.

CLOSING COMMENTS:
I was expecting a few more suggestions (definitely more than just 3 replies).

I will repost this question sometime in the future. In the meantime, I'll try using a different forum to see if I get better results.

As for the best answer out of the very few, I think I'm going to go with Silver Surfer's answer; since it was the only one that directly answered the question and was specific rather than general.

go to the dollar store and buy 1000 glow stick kits

go to all night time outdoor activities with children and young people present

sell each kit for 5 dollars and make 5 times your money

if 5 is too high try 3

Buy for less than market value. Sell for more than M.V. Repeat.
