Also download a different web browser try Firefox it will never get hijacked and you won't get adware pop ups in it. Plus its the best out there.

Use Spybot: Search and Destroy. It is a free download, and I swear by it. There are few hijackers that it can't get rid of.

Hijackthis does the best job. Google it and you'll find it.
Even better...stop opening attachments and clicking on links you don't know anything about. ;-)

have you try use yahoo tool bar ? it's free its' scan your computer to find the ad-ware,spy-ware, hijacker, some Trojan, check mark cookie scan. have any anti-virus/ system utility ?
