i would define new metal as anything that comes after 1999 slipknot stuff like that its all crap when pantera was no more thats the day metal died and afi is not metal its punk and punk is crap

nu_metal sucks.and why people thinks that hair metal bands are untalented bands i got to say that hair metal bands are more talented than any NU-metal bands.(poison is better than system of a down)(dokken kick slipknot @$#)and these posers (green day) who thinks that they are better than bon jovi_three words_green day sucks.

New metal?!? Well ,shouldn't you define that a little bit better... like maybe give some examples of bands? For instance, I like Three DAys grace, AFI, Staind, Crossfade, but what would you consider them? You know just because you think metal sucks, yes that is your own opinion, doesn't mean that it actualyl does. You don't have to like it, but it doesn't all suck,

i do , bands like atreyu, avenged are ...err...well not as good as the metal god such as slayer, metallica, iron maiden, black sabbath. ...buy anyway, i still listen to every kind/type of metal haha. better than emo crap
