What do you think about tattoos? what type do you have? What do they say?

guys look like wannbe thugs. chicks look like worn out bikie moles when they reach 35. after 2 kids a girl I know had a tat of a bluebird on her breast. it now looks like a sick ostrich

I like tattoos a lot! I like the fact that it's a form of personal expression & the artwork will tell a story of someone's life, or a tribute, or just for fun. The art of tattoo has been around for thousands of years, so I don't think it's going anywhere. I have one on my arm of a tribal armband yin/yang infused with a goddess symbol---> )o(

And I'm proud to say I got it when 2 years ago when I was 34 y.o. and it STILL looks good!

I plan to get more, not sure of where yet though.

I have a small Sign Language " I Love You" hand on the inside of my left ankle and I can cover it up with a small round band-aid. I can cover it up when going for a job interview or for something important. I have had 6 children and I am SO glad it is in a place where it won't stretch. I thought of putting on top of my foot, but a band-aid would look funny there and this way I can still go bare foot with out anyone seeing it. I do like my tattoo, it was a personal choice to get it, don't let anyone pressure you in to it either way. . . .it cost so much to have it removed (insurance will not cover it), so make sure it is something you really want and represents you for a lifetime.

god i love tattoos in moderation though..ive got 2 one band on my left arm in black with a red heart in the centre and ive a band on my right ankle with a blue heart in the centre..id like to have a tattoo on the bottom of my back but 2 is defernatly enough for me.

I think tats are great. form of expression and art is beautiful. I have a sentimental tat on my left upper arm. that says In Memory of C.J. ( a halo around the top of the J. )

I love my tatts, I'm in my 40's and they still look great. With a wiccan background, l think the fairies and butterflies are my favorite. But remember it is a personal choice for each and every individual.

for many years, i had always wanted a tattoo, but i couldn't decide on which design, so that i will never regret it.
so finally, last year, @ 33years old, i had my 1st tattoo. its 'om mani padme hum' in tibetan script. (in rememberence of my eldest brother who was a tibetan buddhist)
the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"

i love tattoos i am going to get my neck finished this sunday i have eight other tats in various places on my body and i am no where near finished getting them. to me your body is a canvas decorate it why look like everyone else.

i think having tattoos are very cool i have two of them they are vary simple. i have one red rose on my right chest. and i have one my hand a small red rose.
