People feel free to express themselves any way they please as long as it brings them contentment. Regardless how it comes out (vulgar or not), the inner deep hidden thoughts are free to roam the uncharted territory. There is no penalty so why pretend there are restraints? Well at least not yet!

I think unfortunately because there are many vulgar and obscene people out there. Just stay clear of them...you won't miss much!

Why are so many people vulgar and obscene? My wonderful father used to say that people who swear alot are demonstrating that they have a very limited vocabulary.

Sometimes the freedom of self expression is a dangerous thing. Sarcasm is an easy overlay for thoughts and feelingsfor people fluent in their first language, in most cases on this site, English. Non-English speakers have difficulty expressing themselves and lash out with crude and bizarre expressions which are more humorous than shocking. I object to questions concerning sexual body parts which should be asked of parents or teachers.

because here we are all anonymous and there for we can let our true nature show here. i have always been a little brass and harsh. its in my nature i can't help it. i do try to control this when i interact with others but the vail over us all here allows the freedom to be a jerk if one wishes. sad but true. i would bet that if we were all in the same room face to face it would be a very different story.whether i am chatting on-line or in a public place i am the same as we all should be. unfortunately this is not the case. that is the true answer to your question.

i agree with that, most of the questions are vulgar and obscene, and most of them are usually asked by the psycho boys inorder to heal their sexual senses or they wanna show that they know more about the sinful things than anybodyelse....Dammit Boys!!!!! They really suck!!!!!

Kim; people who do not have a genuine question seek instead to provoke a reaction. More thoughtful people may do it with humor or paradox. Less creative people use coarse language.

Because there are a lot of sick minds out there that know that they won't be held accountable for their actions AND Yahoo has let this problem grow out of proportion.
